Baby Boy Prentice

Last night at 8:59pm a little baby boy entered the world, weighing 4lbs 2oz! Kip is officially and uncle and myself and aunt! We are so excited to welcome (from afar) this little boy! I have no other infomation yet, and we are eagerly awating a status report on how everyone is doing, as well as a potential name! Until then we will just continue to call him Little Kip! Congratulations to Bill and Jenna! You are officially parents to a being other than a feline! We could not be happier for you!

Sumphin

Well Kip and I haven't been up to much lately. Kip is out of school for the summer and he is now, instead of making me a school widow, making me a golf widow. He is constantly golfing and working on his game. He is improving his game while trying out some new clubs from the clubhouse at Quail.
Mia and Mona just got a haircut so that when they decide they want to go swimming they aren't all matted from the pool. Sophie is big...and that's all she's up to just being big.
Kip goes on the fishing trip here in a week and then I am off to Dallas to see Jenna and Bill, Janeen and Marilyn. It should be a fun filled June and hot hot hot. Luckily we have the Tracy Community Pool to cool off in and work to keep us busy during the day.
Otherwise we don't have a lot going on in our lives! Thanks for checking in!

Sophie & Christie

Sophie and I sleeping in on Saturday morning! Kip took me on a date day and we did all sorts of fun things, but to start the day off right he let me sleep in. Sophie just couldn't stand me having the whole bed to myself so she decided to join me (as she does every morning after Kip wakes up) and we cuddled until I finally decided to wake up! She on the other hand is a bear to get out of bed. Every morning I beg her and plead with her to get out of bed, and finally as long as I drag at least two feet off of the bed and offer her some chicken liver treats she decides that she'll arise for the day. (which consists of getting in her crate to go back to sleep for 8 more hours)

Saturday with Jovan

Kip and I recently hung out with Jovan and I just wanted to sharesome of the pictures that we took of him with Jovan and with Kip. We went to the Disney store also but didn't get any pictures there! He really loved Sophie and Kip and then when you get to the last picture you'll find out that he doesn't like me so much! It's okay though, he and Kip had a great time!
Enjoy!

Dylan

Baby Dylan Richard Alvarado.

My cousin Sarah and her husband Richard Alvarado had this little peanut on Monday March 16th at 3:10am. Sarah had four days of labor and out of all that hard work she got this beautiful blessing.

He is wearing the little (too big) of a hat I made him, but I know he'll grow into it!! Isn't he adorable?! I'm so happy for them, and they are going to be great parents!!

CONGRATS!!!

I know we haven't been updating this as much as we should, Christie and I have been pretty busy these last few months. I promise we will have more updates coming in the near future but for now I just wanted to give a big congratulations to my bother Bill and his wife Jenna. Jenna is with child and not knowing Bills travel schedule over the last several months we assume he is the father. We are very happy for them and we can't wait to meet our new niece or nephew. By the way I don't know if they have thought of any names yet but I will be taking suggestions to pass on to them. The only qualifying factors for suggestions is the first name has to start with "K" and end in "P" with an "I" in the middle and be only three letters long. So any names you can come up with with those three letters in that order I will gladly pass them on to the glowing couple. Congratulations Bill and Jenna, we love you and whatever we can do for you just let us know.

Anniversary

Honey, I just wanted to say that I love you and I am so glad you decided to marry me! There is no man more perfect for me than you. As I sit here recovering from surgery, you are taking such good care of me, I'm sorry that I ruined our anniversary with stupid medical problems! I promise next year we'll have an even better anniversary. Can you believe it's been two years? Isn't it wonderful? I love being married to you and nothing makes me more happy that to say what a wonderful man I have married and what a wonderful marriage we have! I love you! MWHA! (No hot pockets!)

Prentice Update

Well the Prentices sustained a floor in September...the toilet ran over for hours and hours. We rebuilt the toilet and decided to also redo the flooring a season (or two) earlier than we planned. So we took the plunge and decided to redecorate the whole entire house. The flooring finally came in and the demolition started. Here are a few pictures of the journey thus far. And yes these are current pictures and my house does look like this currently! Yes I know...UGH!

I dont' knwo how much longer I can live like this...
Also a medical update for those of you who have been concerned about me. I have been to 4 different specialists who have yet to figure out what the pain I am having is coming from. My OB/GYN decided that it was time for them to take a closer look. So on Tuesday I will be going into surgery to hopefully diagnose and treat whatever the problem is. I just wanted to thank you for the support and keep you posted, especially those of you who don't live nearby. Thanks!
